On April 18th, 2020 in the peaceful rural community of Portapique, Nova Scotia, Canada a deranged gunman began a two day murderous rampage that not only took the life of R.C.M.P. Officer Heidi Stevenson, but also twenty-one other innocent souls.
As a Canadian inspirational author whose mother was born in Dartmouth, I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the people of Nova Scotia by sharing the following parable in light of this senseless mass shooting.
I pray it provides The Royal Canadian Mounted Police and all the victim’s families with a measure of solace, faith and hope in the very difficult days, months and years ahead.
In this life, we often leave or are left wishing we had just five more minutes, please take one of them to share this article not only on behalf of those who have been the victim of gun violence, but anyone who has lost a person dear to their heart!
